![]() ![]() SURVIVE!Įsoteric Alteration: I think this is the best defensive choice because your sweep attack is going to be perma stunning pretty much anything it hits, so melee reduction is not as much of an issue like you might see with SB (so mutilation guard would be less effective). So clearly, reducing the wrath cost of those skills to prolong their use allows you more reliable uptime on defensive skills. Since roland's is not dependent on Akarats like Akkhan's is, your survivability is directly linked to skillful use of defensive skills, whose cooldowns are directly related to how often you are using sweep attack or shield bash. ![]() Wait, there are other laws? This one is pretty self explanitory. Skill 3: Laws of Valor - Unstoppable force. Roland's 2 piece should assure that you can use frequently. Excellent at stunning groups of mobs and regenerating lost wrath, or if you have the appropriate RCR breakpoints you could get the extra 20% damage from Divine Verdict. Skill 2: Shield Glare - Zealous Glare/Divine Verdict. Have to get from point A to point B quickly to maintain roland's/taeguk/denial stacks and draw and quarter is excellent at bringing 1 or two trash mobs along with you that you can hit to maintain stacks. Skill 1: Steed Charge - Draw and Quarter. Roland's 2 piece should assure you have constant uptime on this. Immobilize enemies in front of you, and give you 20% crit chance on those enemies. With some maintenance wrath regen on flail/shield you could slowly recoup wrath lost while attacking while unstoppable force was not active. At a certain RCR breakpoint (~35-40% or so) you would be using only 6 wrath per attack as long as laws were up and could sweep attack indefinitely without wrath problems. With unstoppable force, as long as you hit 2 enemies with SA using a perfect rolled Flense you would be generating 2 Wrath per attack with no RCR. Maybe 6 piece rolands with F/R just like the SB build, but swap in strongarms for drakons, prioritze holy damage and ~40% RCR as stats (saffron wrap would be important) and at least 1 second of extra wrath regen. I know that current flavor of the season is the SB build, but I am curious if anyone has done any testing with sweep attack using the new Denial+Golden Flense?Īnd the proc seems interesting enough, especially when paired with strongarms and the new golden flense with gathering sweep. ![]()
